October 2004 Member of the Month

The October Member of the Month is Teresa Quinton. Teresa has been a  most active member of the HLCA for several years and when something needs to be done, Teresa is always on board and ready to go. Teresa has taken on many challenges and has done an outstanding job, most recently, as Special Events Coordinator, coordinating our Weymouth Day participation which was a HUGE success. She is also the sales coordinator for our fall fundraiser, “Travels Through Weymouth 2005” calendar. Teresa always goes beyond the call of duty and is the groups best lobbyist whether she is interfacing with our council representatives or taking on Town Hall. We are very fortunate to have Teresa on our side and working for the best interests of the HLCA and the Landing area.

Just before the new board and officers took over  in October 2003. Michael MacDonald, past president of the HLCA, said to me “you are just going to be the president, but Teresa will be the glue that holds this group together.” Mike was absolutely right. Teresa is the glue that holds this group together. So, Teresa “Miss Crazy Glue 2004” Quinton thank you for all your effort  and dedication to the HLC and the Landing area and for being a good friend to all.
